how can i get a domicile made in mumbai if my birth certificate is not there but my place of birth is Mumbai

You cannot claim the domicile of any particular State if yiu just born there. You should have lived in that State for a particular number of years to claim the domicile of that State. For Maharashtra, to be eligible for their domicile, a Candidate should have lived in that State for a minimum period of 15 years.

i lived at my uncle's place in Mumbai for 2 years and then i purchased my own flat in 2006. i did not make any rent agreement or any other residence document while i was at my uncle's place. how will the 15 years be counted then?
