hi you still have 5 months time and if you work smart, you can really score well easily, i will tell you how to prepare
physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too, good luck
Hi Nooreen Kausar,
For physics, Daily revision is most crucial. Ignoring physics is not good. Need not to score good grades from now onwards, go with the syllabus. Each time for the mock test, try to cover more syllabus than the previous one. Get better grades rather than Best.
Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET
- Firstly, gather all the details about the officially prescribed syllabus for the examination.
- Make a proper time-table for your preparations.
- Follow the time table strictly and increase your potential day by day.
- Consider the good preparation books and study materials.
- Practice mock test & previous year question papers.
- Make mistakes while practising, and correct them and never repeat them.
- Never give up even at your low time.
- Stay stress free & healthy while preparing for exams.
- Don’t try to include new topics at the end of preparations.
All the best, for further assistance please comment. Always happy to help.
Dear Nooren,
Don't get overwhelmed by anything, let alone your studies. NEET is five months away and you have enough time to prepare well. Now let's go step-by-step. You should plan for just one day at a time and see your progress at the end of the day. Set realistic targets and check your progress at the end of the week. Divide your time in such a manner that you spend 70 percent of your time on studying and the rest 30 percent on revision.
Clear your concepts first. Easy to advise you. But how do you go about that? If you feel that you don't understand a concept, ask your friends or teachers. Or if you are taking coaching, ask your tutors. I am sure that they will help you out. Ask your doubts and get them cleared without hesitating for a moment.
Once you do this, keep a check on your progress by taking sectional tests. It will help you fine-tune your groundwork, help you manage your time better and also bring your weak spots into the limelight. Make sure you overcome your weaknesses before moving ahead. Keep revising whatever you study, provided you keep to your timetable.
Now let's take Physics head-on. According to experts on Physics, the backbone of any entrance exam will be Mechanics and Electrodynamics. So give maximum time to these two units. Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics are relatively easier topics. When it comes to preparation techniques, solve whatever appears easier to you first before attemting tough topics.
If you are dedicated to the task on hand, that is preparing well for Physics, plan well, make a timetable, and study according to your plan. Well begun is half done! Let the future doctor in you push you to study hard. With a little bit of help from friends, parents and teachers, nothing is impossible. Believe in yourself and go ahead with the firm conviction that you will crack NEET comfortably.
Best of luck!
