Hello dear,

When you will qualify jee mains then you have to do counselling for the admission in NITs.For this you have to register in JOSAA for counselling and then you have to fill choices of your colleges and branch that you want to prefer, after that josaa will show you college and branch you are getting in different rounds according to your percentile /rank and then you have to confirm your seat by payment. Hi dear,

After release of rank you have to fill your choice according to your branch choice and college the best choice should prefer first.The counselling will be for 7 round after every round you will get a NIT according to your rank.You can freeze or slide your choice after 7th round you will get the best possible college.
