Hi, you should note that NEET 2018 will mark the first time that admissions to all AYUSH courses including BAMS courses in all colleges in every Indian state will take place through a common exam. Only a few states conducted admissions on the basis of NEET scores through NEET 2017 while others followed their own entrance exams and admissions processes. Thus, we do not have any comprehensive or reliable data on a common score required to get admissions to a BAMS course in India. Also, with NEET, the domicile rules will also apply, meaning different cut off scores will be required for admissions to BAMS courses in your own state as compared to All India Quota. However, for now, I can provide you admission details for two states, Gujarat and Kerala, which conducted BAMS admissions through NEET in 2017. I remember you having asked about admissions to the BAMS course in VPSV Ayurveda College in Kottakkal, Kerala a few days ago. So if you are a Kerala domicile OBC Muslim candidate, you would have secured admission to the BAMS course in VPSV Kottakkal with a NEET rank of around 31,000, which would have required you to get a NEET score of 489+ marks out of 720. For BAMS courses offered by other colleges in Kerala, the last Muslim candidate to secure a seat obtained a NEET 2017 rank of around 93,000 which translated to a NEET score of 381 out of 720. The candidate was allotted a seat in PN Panicker Sauhrida Ayurveda Medical College, Kanhangad. Like in the case of Kerala, only candidates with the state domicile of Gujarat were allotted seats to the BAMS courses in Gujarat colleges through NEET 2017. Reservations are also applied only to Gujarat domicile candidates through NEET. All of this may change with NEET 2018. For your reference however, the last General Category candidate to secure a BAMS seat in Gujarat obtained a NEET rank of 3,87,540, which translates to a NEET score of 180. The candidate secured admission in Bhargava Ayurveda Medical College, Anand. So as you can see, the BAMS admission scores varied a lot through NEET 2017, with a NEET score of around 380+ required for admission in Kerala and a score of 180 proving to be enough for admissions in Gujarat. I recommend you do not take these cut offs as final for now as they will change a lot once NEET is made compulsory for BAMS admissions everywhere in India next year. As you are in Class 11 now and will be appearing for NEET only in 2019, the scores for BAMS admissions through NEET 2018, which will take place at an All India and State level, will give you a much better idea of how much you will need to target as a score when appearing yourself. Hope this answer helps until then. Good luck!
