You can surely do economics hons. if you have good interest in economics and maths.
There are many choices of collegefirstly most of the colleges of DU offer the course and some other colleges like St . Xavier's, Mumbai and st. Xavier, Kolkata are good options.
There is another option related to the field of economics which is statistics hons. which can be posted from DU&ISI..
However these days getting admission in all the above mentioned colleges is getting difficult day by day. The cut off of these colleges go really high. This year the least cut off in a DU college for general category was 91%while the highest of st. Stephens reached 98.25%
For higher studies you can do masters in economics, which is offered by many prestigious colleges around the globe and is also considered to be very highly valued course.
Also if you interest in business and management then you can do bcom hons or BMS/ bba and then go for MBA and there are even professional courses in finance area like CFA,CA, ACTUARIES,CMS,CS etc
