i have subjects PCB so i will become a commercial pilot
Hello,
Yes, you can become a commercial pilot even if you have PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), but there are some conditions.
For commercial pilot training in India :
-
You need 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics .
-
Most flying schools require Maths and Physics in 12th.
-
If you only have PCB, you might need to do Maths separately (like through a bridge course or open board).
-
-
You need to join a DGCA-approved flying school .
You must pass medical tests for class 1 pilot license.
So, PCB alone is not enough , but if you study Maths additionally , you can become a pilot.
Hope it helps !
Hi,
Yes, you can become a commercial pilot if you have PCB, as long as you meet the key requirements-
- You should pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. If you don't have maths, you can take it as an additional subject from the NIOS or any recognized board.
- You would need minimum 50% marks to qualify.
- 17 years is the minimum age to begin flying training.
- Also, you must pass the DGCA class 1 Medical Examination, which is done by an aviation medical examiner.
After you are eligible, you will need -
- Student Pilot License (SPL) by joining a DGCA-approved Flying Club.
- Private Pilot License (PPL) to learn basic flying, which is minimum 40-50 hours.
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL) for advanced training with at leat 200+ flying hours + DGCA written exams + medical fitness.
- Then you can apply for a commercial airline pilot.
