I'm getting IT in a reputed college an CS in less reputed but descent college. What should I do?
Hi Pratik,
For your query to be very frank in case of higher studies which will almost decide your career getting into the courses which looks good or in which college is good hardly matters.
This is all about you.. what you actually want to do go for that. In this case don't go for reputation or decency..... If the college has good records. go for it. and choose the stream which you really want to do.
Things at this point seem quite easy but soon later after getting into the college people start realising their actual interest. The one's who opted the stream of their interest are happy and do good whereas one who give more priority to other things than their own interests usually start feeling it difficult to continue... .
Therefore, in your case i would suggest you to please decide between IT or CS or whatsoever field you are interested in and go for the college selection.
Please don't look for the college first and then the stream... first decide the stream and then search for good colleges.
GOOD LUCK BUDDY
You may go with it as it is from good reputed college.
Although there will be no difference in the course content in the cs and it only the no of projects and content will be depth and more in it than in cs.
So you can choose it feild.
For the course details you can check them out in the college website.
Hi Pratik,
CS and IT are almost similar courses and 95% of the companies who come to recruit do not differentiate among CSE and IT students. So please be rest assured that there is no disadvantaf=ges of IT. Now, to answer your question, I would highly advise you to pursue IT in the reputed college as that would be much more valuable for your future.
Good luck!
