Private universits are best for Btech or not
Of course! You would defenitely try for either IIT or NIT. But if you couldn't make it into them you don't have to worry too much. Because there are lots of private universities which are still best for b.tech and provide you many facilities. For example , you can try for the universities like; BITS, Manipal university, Amrita university, VIT, SRM etc. There are still many collleges where you can pursue your b.tech successfully.
Hi Ramesh,
Whether private universities are good or not,is a question of perception.Whether a university is private or public, there are lot of differences bteween them like the course, syllabus, fee structure, infrastructure of the university etc.So you cannot say which ones are good .For some people government universities are good ,for some prefer Private universities, but the course you want to pursue, the degree you get from both would be same, only the experience you get after studying in them makes all the difference.
Well, both are good in their respective places.
Thank you.

Hi Ramesh,
It totally depends, a lot of private universities have good international collaboration and repute, downside being the fees is more than govt funded institutions. Whereas when you take the govt funded ones the IITs,NITs where ROI is much better. You can see some of the top private universities in the link below:
