Think about a geometrical shape the best describe your personality?
Dear Riya,
This is a technique by speaker and psychologist Connie Podesta. It is very simple and works best in groups, though you can try it individually. Please follow these instructions and then look at the next paragraph for more insight.
1. You have to draw these four shapes in front of you: square, circle, squiggle and a triangle one at a time.
2. Now you have to choose one of these and draw it again.
The one you draw again tells your personality. Nobody of course has one shape and are mostly mixtures but the strongest can be found out with this activity. All of these have the following meanings:
CIRCLE: Communicator, storyteller, compassionate and empathetic people. They are fun-loving and stay away from conflict. Like the shape, these people have no boundaries, and want to "fix" everyone else. They work best in groups and can also get hurt easily.
SQUARE: Logical, sequential, analytical, detail-oriented and organised people. They love systematic work and want proper plans and procedures to do tasks. They like order and structure and responsible and excellent at time-management. They are often stubborn and hesitant and like working alone.
SQUIGGLE: Creative, Original, Counterintuitive and idea generators. They like attention and fun. They like to consider possibilities and are not always research-oriented. They like change and get bored easily and love to try new things.
TRIANGLE: Confident, Outspoken, Focused, Successful people. They love to be the incharge or the leader as taking charge comes naturally to them. They are multitaskers and also like to be the ultimate decision makers. They are good at debates but they hate losing and do not like to apologise. They always want to "get it done".
Hope you find your answer here. This test is often used in corporate settings to understand the team dynamics. There are other tests too, but this seemed the most authentic because of its applications.
All the best!
