What is the admission criteria for MSc nursing

Admission to an M.Sc. Nursing program generally requires candidates to have a B.Sc. Nursing , B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing , or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Most colleges also require registration as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) and relevant work experience.
General eligibility criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.
- Minimum Marks: At least 55% aggregate marks (many institutions relax this to 50% for SC/ST candidates).
- Registration: Must be registered as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with a State Nursing Registration Council .
- Work Experience: Generally, one year of clinical or teaching experience after completing Basic B.Sc. Nursing . The exact experience requirement may vary depending on the university or institution.
