which is better course in intermediate
Hi
After 10th , you have to choose any one of science Commerce , Arts/Humanities streams for your Intermediate /10+2
-) Science :-The science stream can be further divided into 3 groups depending upon the subjects one chooses
* Non medical :- Science with PCM i.e physics, chemistry , maths group. There's no biology in PCM group.
You should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering/architecture etc in future.
* Medical :- Science with PCB i.e physics, chemistry biology.
You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds, nursing etc in future .
* PCMB :- You can even go for science with PCMB i.e physics Chemistry Maths and Biology if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2. But yes, it becomes a bit difficult to handle both biology and Maths. One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.
-) Commerce :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.
-) Arts :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature, languages, history, psychology etc.
Now, out of all these options which should you go for depends upon:-
*Your interest
*What do you want to become,
For example,
You should choose PCM science if you want to become an engineer, PCB science if you want to become a doctor, you should choose commerce if you want to be a banker or an accountant, you should choose arts if you want to become a journalist or you are interested in literature etc. So, it all depends upon your interest and what do you want to become in future so take your time and decide.

Hello,
Firstly It's a very individual thing to tag a course best, the reason being your areas of interest, skills, aptitude or for that matter aspirations aren't same as that of somebody else, if there is no interest then the valuable years that one spends in pursuing the education is of no use, and today the demarcation among arts, commerce and science has changed a lot, you should pursue a career where interest lies, that you're enthusiastic about learning and knowing more, we can help us with the options available as per your stream, eventually the decision will be solely yours.
Basically in terms of streams - there are science, arts and commerce
In science you must be aware of combinations such as PCM which is good if you're interested in pursuing a technical field such as BTech/Architecture/AME Training/CPL Training to name a few, you can appear for ISI exam to pursue BSc Maths/Statistics, there are many entrance exams also which you can appear such as NDA/NA/IMUCET/Indian Army TES/Indian Navy BTech Entry Scheme etc,
in case of PCB it will lead you towards a career in medicine such as MBBS/BDS/Ayush courses or an area where biology is predominant such as appearing for IISER offers BS-MS Dual degree/IISC offers four years BS degree or appear for NEST for integrated five years MSc program, these options are good if you want to go in the field of research and academia, you can also appear for ICAR AIEEA UG for BSc Agriculture, some of the emerging field in graduation are microbiology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, biochemistry etc
If you choose to go ahead with PCMB combinations then you have the benefit of all opportunities of medical and non-medical group
If you're interested in finance, data, statistics then you can choose commerce stream in intermediate level, in future you can pursue courses like BCom(Hons) /BCom Accounting/BCom Banking and Finance/CA/CS, you can consider going for integrated MBA for which you can consider appearing for IPMAT for admission to IIM Rohtak/Ranchi/Indore, and from this year onwards IIM Jammu and Bodhgaya too are offering this course, of course there are other universities as well which offer integrated MBA such as Nirma University, Jindal Global Business School, NMIMS to name a few.
If you pursue arts stream then you can go for integrated law , hotel management, fashion designing, mass communication or journalism, mass media, hospitality and travel etc.
Basically there are immense opportunities in every stream, eventually it's dependent on you as in which area you wish to explore.
