Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Pauri Garhwal admissions are offered for diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. Candidates applting for HNBGU Garhwal admission process need to meet the eligibility criteria and follow the required process of admission.
Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University will start the HNBGU 2026 admission process for UG courses through CUET. Candidates can apply for HNBGU admission through CUET till March for UG courses. HNBGU 2026 PG admissions are based on CUET PG. Candidates who wish to apply for integrated PG courses offered by Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University must make sure to fill out the HNBGU application form.
Admission to HNBGU will be done by CUET scores which are also held for admission to 89 other universities. To apply, candidates must first register and complete the HNBGU application form. The university will release the HNBGU merit list on its official website. The shortlisted candidates have to attend the counselling to secure their admission to the HNBGU by paying the tuition fee and submitting the documents. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET application form for admission to UG programmes in HNBGU on February 9 in online mode. The HNBGU application form for PG programmes will be released in the middle of March. Candidates must complete the HNBGU application form in order to be considered for admission. Candidates must submit their application forms before the deadline expires. The University will not recognize late submissions of HNBGU 2025 application forms or forms with erroneous information. Aspirants must carefully complete the HNBGU 2025 application form and examine all details before pressing the submit button. Candidates can pay the application cost for HNBGU 2025 by creating a bank challan.

The HNBGU exam pattern for PG programmes is based on the syllabus that applicants studied in the applicable program's undergraduate level. For the HNBGU entrance exam, candidates must take at least three topics. According to the HNBGU test format, applicants will receive one mark for each correct response, while no marks will be provided for incorrect answers or failure to attempt the question.

Once the HNBGU merit list 2025-26 is released, the final selection of students for the applied courses will be made. Before the HNBGU admission window ends, all candidates must declare their admission by the deadline. Candidates' merit is assessed based on a number of factors, one of which is the number of seats available for a particular programme provided by the University or its member colleges. The number of seats, reserve, cutoff, and difficulty level are also variables in selecting the HNBGU merit list.
Shortlisted candidates in the HNBGU merit gets an official HNBGU counselling call letter outlining the processes to complete the HNBGU admission process final rounds. Candidates must verify their original documents and pay an admission/tuition fee to book a place for the applied programme on the day of HNBGU counselling.
Candidates are notified separately about the HNBGU counselling round for various programmes by the university. The timing, place, and date of the HNBGU admissions counselling session varies according to the programme. All candidates who are invited to the counselling session are chosen on the basis of merit, the most important of which are the scores received by candidates in the entrance and qualifying examinations.

There are many placement opportunities with good package in CS and IT field. basically student should must obtain atleast 65 percentage in all over his/her academics. students with minimum of 65% are eligible for placements. As of now it will be good and better to obtain 70% and
HNBGU Garhwal is a Government Central University. The university offers the 3 years program of LLB and admission is provided through University Admission Entrance Test with reservations as per Government of India. Minimum eligibility is 45% in the qualifying examination for general candidates, 42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST
