The admission to the B.Tech Course under “Category A” is filled by the Convener of EAMCET (Admission) based on the Rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test & Guidelines issued by the Govt of Telangana.

The candidate should also have qualified in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Telangana.

A candidate who has must pass the  Intermediate examination (conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt of Telangana) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education as equivalent thereto.  

1. The candidate must possess a minimum qualification of 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (MPC) as optional subjects
2. Candidates belonging to OC and BC must have secured 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 (Intermediate ) level and 45% in optional subjects(MPC)
3. Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes must have secured 45% aggregate and 40% in the optional subjects (MPC).
4. The candidate should also have qualified in the Engineering and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) conducted by the Government of Telangana.
5. The candidate must fulfill the criteria of Local /Non-local as per the Presidential order of 1963. To be recognized as local, the candidate must have studied for four Consecutive years in the state of Telangana from the Preceding academic year.
