Eligibility Criteria

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to the first year of different courses shall be as follows Physics and Mathematics, Optional Subjects (Any one of the following Subject)- Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

For admission to first year: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the aggregate with the subject combination as follows:-

Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics

Optional Subjects (Any one of the following Subjects) – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

For admission to second year (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have passed a Diploma in Engineering /Technology course of 3 years’ duration from the State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the aggregate in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture, Pharmacy & Architecture).
