All seats, including NRI/ Management quota, are selected based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET PG) conducted on an all-India basis by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The seats are allotted by merit through online counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority( kea.kar.nic.in ).

Selection of candidates for postgraduate degree courses shall be on merit basis of PG NEET examination.

• The candidate should hold an MBBS degree from an Institution/ University.
• The candidate has completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before 31^st March of the admission year.
• Candidates holding foreign degrees must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and must obtain a temporary registration certificate.

1. The candidates should have passed the MBBS degree examination from a recognized Medical College affiliated to any university recognized by the MCI.

2. The Candidates should have completed one year of Compulsory Rotating Internship in a teaching institution recognized by the MCI.

3. The Candidates should have registered their MBBS degree with the respective State Medical Council.
