Candidates under the UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories are eligible to seek admission based on both merit and entrance tests to programs in all Colleges/ Departments (except Minority Colleges, wherein some categories may not be applicable).

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidate should pass 55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Bio-technology/ Biochemistry (Practical & Theory together) and 50% in English as a compulsory language

Merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology /Bio-technology/ Biochemistry.

Candidates who have studied both Mathematics and Biology in the qualifying exam will be given a 3% relaxation

Selection will be made on the basis of PCM / PCB/BT whichever is higher & marks in one compulsory language (i.e. English) should be 50%. 3% relaxation for candidates having PCMB subjects.
