CIEAT 2025 – Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test

Selection of Candidates for Admission to B.Tech. Programmes: Candidates will be selected for admission to B.Tech. Programme of all branches of study based on the merit in the qualifying examination and the marks scored in the Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT-2025). Candidates having a valid score in JEE (Main) will be directly selected for admission.

• Admission to B.Tech. Degree Programme is based on the performance of the candidate in Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT) and in the qualifying examination. Candidates having valid score in JEE Main are exempted from CIEAT
• Candidates are called for counselling based on their merit in the CIEAT and in the qualifying examination or JEE main score
• Candidates should have passed 12th standard examination conducted by State Board / CBSE / ISC or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
• Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Education alone are eligible to apply
• Age Limit: The date of birth should be between January 2003 and December 2008.

The candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations(10+2) of Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as three of the four subjects of study or any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto. 

(OR) 

The candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering / Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. 

Lateral entry admission 

(i) The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamilnadu or its equivalent are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech. in the branch corresponding to the branch of study. 

(OR) 

(ii)The candidates who possess the Degree in Science (B.Sc.,) (10+2+3 stream) with Mathematics as a subject at the B.Sc. Level are eligible to apply for Lateral entry admission to the third semester of B.E. / B.Tech.
