Admission Details

As per the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Central Government, candidates should qualify for the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to BDS Courses in Dental Colleges run with the approval of Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The candidates must be NEET Qualified and Admission will be made through Centralised Counselling of BCECE Board, IAS Bhavan, Patna.

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 10+2, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology, and English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and should be NEET-UG qualified. NEET qualification is a prerequisite for admission to BDS. Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-UG.

Candidate must have passed 12th (10+2) board exams successfully or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized institute.
Candidate must have studied the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English compulsorily in their 10+2.
