Admissions are done on the basis of Skill Assessment, Academic Performance, and Personal interview.

Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

• Candidates must have passed Graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by AIU, with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects including languages (Except Bachelors in Engineering or Technology). The Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics should have an aggregate 55% of marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects.         
• Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects including languages (Except Bachelors in Engineering or Technology). The Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics should have an aggregate 55% of marks or equivalent grade in all the subjects.) Students appearing for their final degree examinations in March-May are also eligible to apply.

The Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the bachelor's Degree and Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
