• The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (exam conducted by www.kea.kar.nic.in) is conducted in the months of May / June each year. This test is a requirement for admission to colleges affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.

Admission to M.C.A. programmes shall be open to candidates who have passed the relevant  Bachelor’s Degree with not less than 50% aggregate marks. (45% for SC/ST candidates belonging to Karnataka). The candidate must have also taken at least one of the  prescribed  Entrance exams as specified in the Admission process below.
