The eligibility criteria for admission into UG engineering program is as per the norms approved by government of AP from time to time.

 There are two types of categories:
1) The seats will be filled as per the norms approved by the government of AP.
2) Lateral entry candidates shall be admitted as per the norms approved by government of AP.

Candidate must have secured a valid rank in the EAMCET Examination conducted by APSCHE. The seat allotment is made by the Convener, EAMCET as per the stipulated rules of A.P. State Government and APSCHE

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The candidate seeking admission into B.Tech course shall have passed the Intermediate Examination of AP State Intermediate Board of Education or equivalent examination with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and must have secured a valid rank in the EAMCET Examination conducted by APSCHE.
