Admission will be based on the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) has adopted the entrance examination MHT-CET, conducted by the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell & JEE-Main, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The State CET Cell releases the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round(s) online at www.mahacet.org. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) includes registration, document verification, and application form confirmation at any selected Setu Suvidha Kendra. It is conducted for admission to the First Year of Four Year duration Full Time Engineering and Technology program (B.E./ B. Tech). Candidates have to register on the official website of the State Cell of Maharashtra to participate in the Counseling of MHT CET.

The student who has passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

1. Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates / Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates / All India Candidates (AI)
   1. The aspirant should be an Indian National
   2. Should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.
   3. Should have obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
   4. Furthermore, the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non-zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

2. OR

   1. Should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology by obtaining at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
   2. Obtained score in MHT CET 2020.
   3. Obtained score in JEE(Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2020.

3. Eligibility Criteria for Children of NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC), Foreign National (FN) Candidates

   1. Should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects
   2. The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.
