All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP.

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG engineering program is as per the norms approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into Category – A and Category – B at first-year level and Lateral Entry at the second-year level.

Category – A seats:

The seats will be filled as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Category – B seats:

These seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Category – lateral entry seats:

Lateral entry candidates shall be admitted into the Third semester directly as per the norms approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The percentages of Category – A, Category – B and Lateral Entry Seats are decided the time to time by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree program in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.

The Engineering Diploma holders, based on their merit at ECET, are admitted into Lateral Entry (II year B. Tech Courses).

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
