Admission to LL.B. courses is through entrance examinations conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.

A candidate desirous of joining the LL. B. Three year course will have to write the Entrance Examination.  

Seeking admission to a 3-year law course, the qualifications needed are only 12th and a 3-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into a 3-year law course,

The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2), and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).

The pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.

(a) Candidates seeking admission to the three year LL.B. course shall be graduates in any faculty of the University of Kerala or any other University recognized by the University of Kerala as equivalent thereto. A candidate desirous of joining the LL. B. A three-year course will have to write the Entrance Examination.  

(b) A candidate who has passed the qualifying degree examination with 40% marks in aggregate shall be eligible for admission to the three-year LL. B. degree course.

(c) Candidates who seek reservation under SC/ST categories should have obtained 35% marks in aggregate and passed in the qualifying examination (subject to the production of the required community certificates).
