A-Category (Convener Quota)
70% of the seats are filled by the Convener, EAMCET under category A. Detailed notifications are issued by the State Council for Higher Education to attend certificate verification and exercise web options. Final allotments are announced through the portal to both candidates and the respective colleges. Candidates need to report to the college within the dates specified. All the students who are eligible for fee reimbursement have to submit relevant documents during web counseling. Reimbursement is subject to the government policies, eligibility criteria, and submission of relevant documents in time.
B-Category (Management Quota)
30% of the seats are filled by the college under category B as per the guidelines given by the competent authority.
All the eligible candidates for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by the EAMCET Convener strictly by the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
