JEE Main

Admission Details

Admission is based on joint entrance examination (JEE Main). Notification of JEE Main is announced in dailies across India during September – December and is conducted in the month of May every year in various centers across India.

Admission to the B.Tech programme in any year will be based as per orders from the Government of India. Currently, there are based on performance in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and HSC examinations as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines through counseling conducted by the CSAB for the respective year.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.
