Admission to Two-Year M.Tech. Programmes is made on the basis of GATE Score. In addition, there is provision of admitting sponsored candidates from academic institutions, industries and R&D organizations.
Admission to PG programmes is offered on the basis of GATE score and/or on the basis of the written test and interview.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the B.Tech with an expected score 60 percent marks.. or an equivalent degree in the respective branch of Engineering. For (f) B.E. or B.Tech. Degree in (i) Civil Engineering (ii) Computer Science and Engineering (iii) Computer Engineering. For (g) B.Tech. or B.Tech. Degree in (i) Civil Engineering (ii) Mining Engineering (iii) Petroleum Engineering. M.Sc. in Geology Qualified in GATE in respective disciplines.
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engg./Electronics Engg./Electrical Engg./Computer Science/ Information Technology/Marine Engg./Mining Engg./Environmental Engg/Agricultural Engg/ Communication Engg/Architecture or equivalent in relevant discipline /MCA.
