Admission Details
Admission is based on JAM Examination Test.
Admission will be made on the basis of merit of the Entrance Exam conducted by the University. If seats remain vacant the admission will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination.
Eligibility Criteria
At least 55% aggregate marks(taking into account all subjects including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC / ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree
For Candidates with letter grades / CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks is decided by the Admitting Institute(s). For M.Sc. (Chemistry) Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry as a subject for three years / six semesters and Mathematics at (10+2) level. For M.Sc. (Mathematics) Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years/four semesters. For M.Sc. (Physics) Bachelor’s degree with Physics as a subject for three years / six semesters and Mathematics for at least one year/two semesters.
A candidate must have passed the B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons.) with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) with Physics as a regular subject at graduation level from a recognized Univ./Institute. Result awaited (Qualifying Exam.) candidates can apply.
