Admission Details
Admission is done once a year in the month of July through the Joint Admission Test for MS (JAM)
conducted on an all India level.
The admissions shall be made strictly on the basis of merit index in the PET.
Eligibility Criteria
All Applicants admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree.
At least 55% aggregate marks, without rounding off, (taking into account all
subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for
General/OBC-NCL Category Applicants and at least 50% aggregate marks,
without rounding off, (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and
Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD Category Applicants in the
qualifying degree.
A candidate must have passed the B.Sc. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. under at least 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be Hons. a subject at B.Sc. (Hons.) level/a subject studied in all the three years at the Graduate level.
