Admission Details
1. The admissions to B.Tech programs shall be governed by the rules of the Technical Education and Skill Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and/or any other competent authority authorized by the State Government of Madhya Pradesh for this purpose
2. Admissions to the first year of all the UG programmes shall be made before the start of each Academic Year, through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the Government, or on the basis of any other relevant Entrance Examination or eligibility criteria as decided and published by the Government from time to time
The State Government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to admit students to Engineering Colleges of Madhya Pradesh through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) conducted at All India level by CBSE. The admission procedure is conducted in three phases: Round 1, Round 2 and College Level Counselling.
Admission For NRI in B.E.- Admission in NRI category conducted through state-level counseling conducted by DTE.
Admission under Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals (FN)/Children of Indian Workers Serving in Gulf Countries (GCW) in B.E.-
Eligibility Criteria
10+2 years of school education. Generally the first year (first two semesters) is common to all branches, and has the same subjects of study. Courses divert after first year. The medium of instruction and examination is English and IES is affiliated to RGPV university. IES offers engineering in various branches like: computer science, civil, fire technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical engineering, chemical engineering.
The candidates shall be considered for admission to First Year B.E. course (4YDC) against PIO/Foreign Nationals/ GCWQ seats who have who have passed the qualifying examination (i.e. Class 12th of 10+2 System) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects.
