Admission to the Honours Course is done in the 6th Semester. For B.A.LL.B.( Hons ) a merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination(10+2) and in the 1st to 5th Semester B.A.LL.B. Examination.

The admission to the Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B) Hons Course is done, following the merit list prepared On the basis of the Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Calcutta.

• Seeking admission into a 5-year law course only the 10th and 12th qualification suffices with the 10th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into the 5-year law course.
• The qualifications for 10th and 12th may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
• The Pass percentage is 45% for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.

The candidate should pass LL.B. (Part -1) and H.S. or equivalent from the recognized Board/Council.
