The candidate should have Passed 10+2 with PCM with minimum 45% marks for Unreserved Category & 40% for SC/ST/OBC

Lateral Entry: a. Diploma in Engineering with minimum 45% marks for Unreserved Category b. B.Sc. With 45 % marks & 40% for SC/ST/OBC (Passed 10+2 with Maths as a subject).

A Candidate must appear for the entrance exam conducted for B.Tech (Regular) by the BPTPIA (Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association).
Candidates can fill up the registration form for appearing in the exam by visiting NSIT admission cell with the required documents.
The BPTPIA exam is usually conducted between June & August; the exact date of the examination is informed via BPTPIA website and Institute’s website.
A candidate also must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.
