Regular Mode: 

• A Merit List will be prepared solely based on the Final NTA score (percentile) obtained in Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech.) in JEE (Main) Examination for all eligible applicants.
• The following tie-breaker rules will be applied in identical Final NTA Score (Percentile).

b) Direct Mode - Only for Central and State Board Toppers

• Only the topper of each board, who have applied to LNMIIT for admission and fulfil the Eligibility Criteria mentioned above, will get the branch of their choice.
• An internal committee will look into the rest of the applications under this mode and considering the number of available seats will allocate branch of admission.

c) DASA (Direct Admission to  Students from Abroad) Mode - Only for Foreign Nationals/ PIOs/ NRIs

• Separate Merit Lists will be prepared on the basis of: (i) valid SAT score (ii) Final NTA score (percentile) obtained in Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech.) in JEE (Main) Examination, for all eligible applicants.
• In case of identical Final NTA Score (Percentile), the following tie-breaker rules will be applied.

Admission to all the M.E./M.Tech. programmes shall be made on the basis of valid GATE Score in respective discipline.

Regular Mode: 

• The applicant must be a citizen of India. (Candidates holding OCI status must have to apply under DASA mode.
• The applicant must be appearing in Paper 1 (B.E. /B.Tech.) during one or more sessions of JEE (Main) 2025 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 12th (10+2) examination. Applicants appearing in the class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.
• The applicant must have secured an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Class 12th examination.
• The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10th examination.

DASA Mode: 

• The applicant should have a valid minimum aggregate score of 1040 (out of a maximum of 1600) in SAT conducted by College Board, USA.

OR

• The applicant must have secured a minimum of 90 percentile as Final NTA score (percentile) in Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) of JEE (Main) 2025 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
• The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 12th (10+2) examination or equivalent examination from the board recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with adequate proficiency in English. Applicants appearing in the class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.

• The applicant must have secured an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Class 12th examination.

• The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10th examination or equivalent from the board recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Direct Mode - Only for Central and State Board Toppers:

An applicant who is among

Top 10 students in Class 12th examination in the academic year 2025-26 from the Merit List of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), provided that official Merit List mentioning such ranks is published.

OR

Top 2 students in Class 12th examination in the academic year 2025-26 of all those Central and State recognized boards in India who publish authorized Merit List indicating ranks.

The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 12th (10+2) examination.

The applicant must have secured an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Class 12th examination.

The applicant must have passed with an aggregate of at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10th examination.

Admission to all the M.E./M.Tech. programmes shall be made on the basis of valid GATE Score in respective discipline. First preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates and who have obtained at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/Industry sponsored) marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination from a recognised University.

After offering seats to the GATE qualified candidates, the admission to remaining vacant seats (if any) shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 30% weightage to 12th marks and 70% weightage to B.E./B.Tech. marks (upto end of pre-final year). Overall minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/Industry sponsored) in B.E./B.Tech. shall be required to be eligible for admission.

OR

In case M.Sc. is qualifying exam, the vacant seats (if any) shall be filled on the basis of merit prepared by giving 50% weightage to B.Sc. marks and 50% weightage to M.Sc. marks (upto end of pre-final year). Overall minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/Industry sponsored) in M.Sc. shall be required to be eligible for admission.

B.E./B.Tech. degree in any discipline of Engineering and valid GATE score in "Computer Science and Information Technology/ Data Science and Artificial Intelligence".

OR

BE/BTech degree in Computer Science/ Information Science/ Information Technology/ Software Engineering/ Software System or any other Engineering Branch with core computing subjects as Minor. Core computing subjects include

(i) Operating Systems

(ii) Computer Networks

(iii) Data Base Management system

(iv)Data Structures

(v) Any programming language

OR

M.Sc. in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Physics/ Operations

Research/ Information Science/ Information Technology OR MCA OR Equivalent
