    As per guidelines of the State Government, in all B.Tech. admissions, 70% is the Convener quota and 30% is the Management Quota.

    Convenor Quota

    B.Tech Admissions (Regular) - Rank in EAMCET or State Level Entrance Test conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

    B.Tech Admissions (Lateral Entry) - Rank in ECET or State Level Entrance Test (Direct admission to Second year) conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

    Management Quota - As per the guidelines of the Andhra Pradesh State https://www.mvgrce.com/information-technology Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), an advertisement shall be released in the newspapers by specifying the courses and the number of seats under management quota. All the applications received shall be scrutinized and shortlisted. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of merit basing on the criteria of ranking at the state/central level competitive examinations like EAMCET/AIEEE or percentage of marks obtained at qualifying examination level subject to a minimum of 50 % of marks.

    Admission based on JEE Mains & AUCET Examination.

    Admissions under Convenor's Quota (A-Category)---70% of intake in each branch:

    • All the eligible applicants for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Government of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly following the merit secured at the Entrance Examination, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974, as amended from time to time.

    Admissions under Management Quota (B-Category)----30% of intake in each branch:

    • B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Guntur.

    B.Tech Programmes (Three-Year Programmes for Diploma/B.Sc Holders)

    • Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 10% of seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to Diploma and B.Sc holders for admission into the II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into the II Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma and B.Sc Holders are conducted by the Convener, ECET. Admissions through web counselling are based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.     Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
