Admission Details
i. Candidates must have a valid WBJEE / JEE (Main) Score.
Admission can be taken through securing merit ranks in WBJEE ( West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination ) and JEE (Mains).
By appearing and qualifying in the Written Test - JELET, which will be conducted by the "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
Eligibility Criteria
i. Candidates must have valid WBJEE / JEE (Main) Score.
ii. Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical, wherever applicable) in all three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
iii. Candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC, PwD) in all the three subjects taken together.
iv. Candidates must have passed English in “10+2” examination with at least 30% marks.
v. The board of qualifying examination must be recognized either by the Central or State Government.
vi. Both B.Sc. Candidates and Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology will also be eligible for admission to the 1st year Engineering Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in the 1st year classes in case the vacancies as lateral entry at second year are exhausted. However, the admission shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three)
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Lateral Entry:
The candidate seeking admission to the 2nd year B-Tech Degree Course in our College should either pass diploma course in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy from any AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least overall 60% marks or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 60% marks.
