This program is offered by Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Admission to MCA programme of MNNIT will be made on the basis of result of NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test)

Merit in qualifying examination LPUNEST, subject to eligibility criteria.

The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent degree with Maths/Computer Science as one of the subjects in BSc., 

Candidates having an aggregate of 60% marks in graduation are eligible to apply for admission to MNNIT.

Pass with 80% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years, or equivalent.

OR 

Pass with 55% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years, or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST *

OR

Pass with 80% aggregate marks in B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics or Statistics or QT or Business Math as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent.

OR

Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics or Statistics or QT or Business Math as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST *.

(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Note:-
In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he or she shall have to go through the bridge or additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge or additional courses.
