Admission Details

Admission of NIT Hamipur is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). There is no need to apply separately to each NIT. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, comprising of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Joint Admission Board (JAB) conduct and supervise the admission process of candidates to various NITs through centralized online counseling process.

Admission to all B.Tech courses are made through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains). The counseling for this is done by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

The candidates should have successfully passed 10+2
examination with the combination of subjects prescribed by AICTE, New Delhi, for respective discipline.
