The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification required for the admission to the M.Tech program is B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc in relevant subject. Candidates having valid GATE card will get more preference.
B.E. /B. Tech. degree in Food Sciences/ Food Science and Technology/Food Technology and Management/Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Dairy and Food Technology/ Agricultural and Food Engineering/Bio Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering OR M.sc degree in Food Technology /Food Science and Technology/Food Microbiology from a recognized University/Institute. Applicants with M.sc degree may be asked to regsiter for deficiency course(s) as per the curriculum.
