    For a candidate to be eligible for M.Tech. programme:

    • Must have a valid GATE Score
    • In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or  60%  for  OC/OB,  whereas  6.0  CGPA  (on a 10-point  scale)  or  55% in case of  SC/ST/ PwD candidates. 
    • The above-mentioned CGPA/Percentage should be awarded by a recognized University/Institute.

    M. Tech (Research) Programme: [Common to all M.Tech (Research) Programmes]:

    Admission to a M.Tech (Research) Programme shall be open to Indian nationals who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 6.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system, OR not less than 60% marks in the aggregate (taking into account the marks scored in all the subjects of all the public/university examinations conducted during the entire prescribed period for the degree programme). However, this prescribed minimum shall be a CGPA of 6.0 OR 55% marks in the aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Valid GATE score is essential for scholarship seats.
