Admission Details

The admission to B.Tech. degree programme at NIT Uttarakhand is done through Joint Seat Allocation
Authority (JoSAA)/CSAB. Admissions were given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by
JoSAA considering score in JEE (Main).

The admission to the under graduate programmes is made on the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying examination and in the JEE (Main). The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) / Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) allocates the seats for Under Graduate Programmes through Common Counseling process.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Science Stream with (60% & 40% weight-age, respectively) from any recognized board.

The candidate should have Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
