Admission Details

Admission to Undergraduate Programs at NITs shall be based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

Admission to the B.Des. Programme of the Institute is made once a year in July through the Undergraduate Combined Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.

The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 system or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
