A candidate for admission to the LL.B. semester course has to qualify at the LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) for that academic year. The candidates will be admittedly strict by the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the Rules in force concerning statutory reservation of seats under various categories of the candidate. 20% of eligible candidates can be admitted through the Institutional level admission process.

A graduate with any discipline who must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2+3) or equivalent in a regular course is eligible to take up admission in the LL.B programme.

The Candidates for 3-year LL. B. Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned, with 45% of aggregate marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC Category, and 40% for SC/ST.
