Admission Details
Admission to BE programs in Karnataka is primarily facilitated through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). Candidates must appear for and secure a valid score in this examination to be considered for admission. Additionally, our Institute will accept scores from the COMEDK UGET examination
Admission through CET :
The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online. 45% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through CET. In addition to this, 5% of Super-numerary quota (SNQ) seats are also made available for the meritorious- economically weaker students with the tuition fee waiver provision.
Admission through COMED-K :
Consortium of the management of the private colleges of Karnataka conducts this test tentatively in the month of May every year. Both Karnataka & Non-Karnataka students can appear for this test. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through COMED-K test.
Admission through Management Quota :
25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through management quota. Provisional admission formality starts in the month of April every year.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programs must meet specific eligibility criteria set by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and other governing bodies. Applicants should have passed the 12th standard (2nd PUC) or an equivalent examination, with English as one of the compulsory subjects.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject. Obtained atleast 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category of Karnataka) in the above subjects taken together.
