Admissions to 1st-year B.E/ B.Tech programs :

• The candidate should have qualified in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Telangana State Government (TGEAPCET). Ranks are allocated based on the performance in the test

Admissions to 2^nd year B.E/ B.Tech programs under the Lateral Entry Scheme 

• The candidate should have qualified in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (TGECET) conducted by the Telangana State Government. Ranks are allocated based on the performance in the test.

A Candidate must have passed in the two-year Intermediate Examination or +2 Examination recognized as equivalent thereto and with an aggregate of 40%marks (pass percentage for SC &ST candidates) in the concerned Science subjects viz Physical Sciences & Mathematics group OR Physical Sciences & Biological Sciences, as the case may be.

Eligibility for admission to 1st year B.E/ B.Tech programs

• The candidate should have passed the Intermediate Exam (10 +2) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, or any other examination of any other University or Authority accepted by the Director of Technical Education, as equivalent.
• The candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local/non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

Eligibility for admissions to 2nd year B.E/ B.Tech programs under Lateral Entry Scheme

• The candidate should have passed the Diploma in Engineering/Technology, awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Telangana, or its equivalent.
