For the academic session, the Board is going to conduct the Common Entrance Examination (PUBDET) for admission to Undergraduate Courses in the Presidency University.

On the basis of aggregate board marks in +2 level

a) Candidates must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 system) conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or any equivalent examination.

b) Candidate must pass any of the aforementioned examinations, with at least five recognized subjects (full marks not less than 100), including English language and excluding Environmental Science. The aggregate is to be calculated considering score in best four recognized subjects.

c) Candidates with International ‘A’ level or International Baccalaureate qualifications must have at least three subjects at the IGCSE level and three subjects at the ‘A’ level, with English in either of the two levels. 

d) The candidate must secure a minimum aggregate score in percentage

• General- 70
• SC/ST- 52.50
• OBC-A/B- 63.00 
• PwD- 66.50

Compulsory Subject(s) in +2 level:  English

Aggregate calculation : English + any three

(other than the subjects which are to be excluded)

Aggregate Marks required for Admission: Minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate and must pass in each of the four subjects included in the aggregate calculation (as per the passing norm of the Board/Council)
