Eligible candidates are required to fill up the application form online to pursue the IIT Madras Online B.Sc Programming and Data Science course. They need to visit the official website of the university, choose the course and then fill in the basic information. Post that, they need to upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

• Applicants are to submit the complete application form and relevant documents, including copies of certificates and the application fee.
• Short-listed candidates will be invited to appear for Counselling. You will get an opportunity to learn more about the Programme, Curriculum, Faculty, Specialisation, Campus life, and Global Connect, followed by questions and answers.
• Students who have not appeared in any standardised test will be called upon to appear for the BMU-SAT.

Interested candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to enrol in the IIT Madras Online B.Sc in Programming and Data Science. The Online B.Sc in Programming and Data Science eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidates must have completed class 12th in any stream or equivalent.

• School students who have appeared for their Class 11 final exams are also eligible to apply irrespective of their group/stream/board. Those who qualify can join the programme after passing Class 12.

Note: Candidates must have studied Mathematics and English in class 10.

• Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent scores) in four subjects: Physics, Mathematics, English, and one additional subject from Chemistry, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects. Additionally, a minimum of 55% marks in Mathematics is mandatory, and candidates must pass all the aforementioned subjects.
• IB Board with minimum score of 24 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology
• For Cambridge/IGCSE examinations Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry at the A Level and English at AS Level
• The applicant is required to have completed one of the following entrance examinations: JEE / SAT / CUET or BMU-SAT
• Candidates can apply early to secure their seat, even before their Class 12 results. Note: Final admission is subject to verification of Class 12 results.

• Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent and subjects as defined for candidates intending to join professional courses.
