Admission Details
All admissions to BAMS seats will be done through NEET in coordination with KEA.
Candidate must be qualified through the NEET examination conducted by the National Testing Agency, Govt of India Admission will be confirmed as per the existing rules at the time of admission.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates should have passed the PUC or 10+2 equivalent examination. recognized by State or Central bodies with at least: 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together (For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum required percentage is 40% in PCB it is applicable for Karnataka students and All India Quota students )
Non-Karnataka Candidates must obtain an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences before the admission process.
Tulu-speaking minority candidates must provide a certificate from the appropriate authorities.
(1)The eligibility to seek admission to a Bachelor of Ayurveda education shall be as under,-
(a) The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognisedBoard with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have obtained a minimum of fifty percent. Marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the case of general category and forty percent marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes Provided that in respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said examinations shall be forty-five percent. in the case of the General category and forty cents. in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
(b) No candidate shall be admitted to the B.A.M.S Degree program unless the candidate attained the age of seventeen years on or before the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program and not more than twenty-five years on the 31st December of the year of admission in the first year of the program:
Provided that, the upper age limit may be relaxed by five years in the case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and disabled candidates.
