    All admissions to BAMS seats will be done through NEET in coordination with KEA.

    The percentile shall be determined based on highest marks secured in the all India common merit list in the National Eligibility Entrance Test for under-graduate courses: Provided further that when sufficient number of candidates in the respective categories fail to secure minimum marks in the National Eligibility Entrance Test, as specified above, held for any academic year for admission to under-graduate courses, the Central Government in consultation with the Central Council may at its discretion lower the minimum marks required for admission to under-graduate course for candidates belonging to respective categories and marks so lowered by the Central Government shall be applicable for that academic year only.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for admission, candidates should have passed the PUC or 10+2 equivalent examination. recognized by State or Central bodies with at least: 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together (For SC/ST/OBC  candidates, the minimum required percentage is 40% in PCB it is applicable  for Karnataka students and All India Quota students )

    Non-Karnataka Candidates must obtain an eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences before the admission process.

    Tulu-speaking minority candidates must provide a certificate from the appropriate authorities.

    • The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognised by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
    • In respect of persons with disability candidates specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of the general category and 40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe,s and Other Backward Classes.
