The Admission Procedure Based on the NEET.

Students must have passed the 12th Std/two-year PUC examination of the PUC education board, Bangalore, or any other examination recognized as equivalent therein with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects(Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of the 12th Std./Second year PUC examination only).

However, in the case of students belonging to SC/ST the minimum requirements in the percentage of marks for admission to the first BAMS Course is relaxed by 10% marks

Candidate should have attained the age of 17 years as of 1st October of the year in which admission is sought or as prescribed by the University

The foreign students can seek admission to courses of Ayurveda provided; the University recognizes the basic qualification of that country or the student submits an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. An eligibility certificate should be obtained from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. There should be a specific mention of the subject 'English' on the marks sheet. As per the guidelines of the university, just 'Foreign Language' mentioned in the marks sheet may not be sufficient for eligibility.

• Students seeking admission to the first professional B A M S course must have passed the 10+2 examination of the state board or any other examination considered equivalent thereto by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, with English as one of the optional subjects, with a minimum of 50% marks in the PCB Groups.
• Candidates who have passed the B.Sc degree examination of any university or any other equivalent exam conducted by statutory universities or boards with science subjects namely, chemistry, botany, and zoology, and have secured at least 50 % of the aggregate are eligible for admission to the first professional B A M S provided the candidate has passed the P U C / H S C examination.
• However,r in the case of students belonging to the SC/ST & category, first, the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for admission to the first B A M S course is relaxed by 10% of marks (applicable only to the Karnataka state students)
• No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has completed 17 years of age on 31st December t of he year of admission.
