    Eligibility Criteria

    Students must have passed the 12th Std/two-year PUC examination of the PUC education board, Bangalore, or any other examination recognized as equivalent therein with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects(Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of the 12th Std./Second year PUC examination only).

    However, in the case of students belonging to SC/ST the minimum requirements in the percentage of marks for admission to the first BAMS Course is relaxed by 10% marks

    Candidate should have attained the age of 17 years as of 1st October of the year in which admission is sought or as prescribed by the University

    The foreign students can seek admission to courses of Ayurveda provided; the University recognizes the basic qualification of that country or the student submits an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. An eligibility certificate should be obtained from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. There should be a specific mention of the subject 'English' on the marks sheet. As per the guidelines of the university, just 'Foreign Language' mentioned in the marks sheet may not be sufficient for eligibility.
